new yoke, oct. 8, 2009. evening.
the photo at left is by my house. it's not taken today though.
new york is an interesting city. I've heard it's a city that creates is own weather pattern. i can believe that, because of the buildings up and the city below.
it's a monster, but I love it, and so do so many others. it's the nation's capital, and the pinnacle of business - mythical in some cases, real in others.
then there's the east cost. I really like the east coast. It's a happening part of this country. Active, energy. an entire seaboard, with some decent history, American History, my freinds.
One of the books i'm reading now is American Lion about Andrew Jackson, 'old hickory.' you know, i'm a history major in addition to the broadcast over there at the Newhouse, where i visited not too long ago.
I checked out this year's squad against another methodist school as the past great coach Coach Mac said in a radio podcast prior to the game. I can deal with that. I'm a Syracuse man and damn proud. The boys pulled one out against that Big Ten team.
That was a nice day. picturesque late summer.
alright.
